Hi, I’m Charlotte! I am a Recognised Birth and Postnatal Doula.I have three boys, who are 25, 23 & 19 years of age.
Since a very young age, I have always been interested in pregnancy and childbirth and had often thought of becoming a midwife. However, different situations in my life kept me away from that path and then I became a very busy mother, bringing up my three boys. I was determined to enjoy the magical years watching them growing up, as I was aware of how quickly those years would pass.
I am now following my passion to support mothers and their families during IVF, pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
All my three boys’ births were very different. I know it can be an exciting time. I also know that it can be a time full of apprehension and confusion. I am here to support you (and your partner) through this incredible time in your life, when having someone there to rely on, who can reassure and support you and who will make a real beneficial difference. I have a birth pool too if you choose for a Homebirth and trained in Aromatherapy in childbirth and Biomechanics in Birth.
I have a love of cooking and walking my 2 dogs. Cornwall is my happy place.
As your doula I offer emotional support and help guide you through this journey , as well as providing you with evidenced based information. So that you can make informed choices in birth and beyond.
