I am an NNEB trained nursery nurse and have worked in a variety of different childcare settings. I have been a live-in nanny, a live-out nanny, worked in a Child Behavioral Unit, worked on a mental health unit and finally worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception and Year 1 class.

Just over 25 years ago, I became aware of the role of a Doula. I researched further and enrolled myself on a Doula training course. Since then I’ve not looked back and I have supported over 90 families in a Postnatal capacity.

My aim is to support you and your family in those early weeks after birth in which ever way you need. My primary focus is on the mother by making sure she has everything she needs to mother her child. I support her family by providing whatever is required to keep the family functioning in the way the parents wish.

I provide an initial pre birth visit where we discuss the mother needs, the family needs and what I can provide in terms of hours per day and days per week. Although we might make a plan, I can be very flexible within that, so that if discussed needs change once the baby arrives, I can adapt to that

I charge £25 per hr. plus travel costs of 40p per mile beyond a 20 mile radius of my home.
