My name is Marta and I am the person behind Baby Bun Doula.
I have had the joy of supporting many families as they move from bump to baby and those magical (and messy!) early weeks. doulaportuesa em Cambridge. Doula portugues Cambridge
I have previously worked within the NHS helping people for many years and feel my knowledge of how the maternity system works will benefit you in your journey to parenthood.

I have supported families during homebirths as well as in Midwife-led Units (Birth Centre) and Delivery units.
I have also been the birth partner for woman having caesarean births at various hospitals. I have even caught babies that have been in a hurry to meet their parents and didn’t wait for the miwifes to arrive!
I have had lots of experience advocating on behalf and alongside my clients and I am enthusiastic about empowering you to follow your own path regardless of the circumstances.
My aim is to support you, independent of your beliefs or background through your unique journey.
I support all types of births, VBAC, HVBAC, home births, hospital / MLU / birth centre and caesarean births.
If you have a previous birth related trauma that you would like to understand and work through, I am able to take you through the 3 step rewind process, a non-intrusive technique based on NLP practices. This will help you have a more positive memory of your birth and deal with the past trauma.
I am living in Cambridgeshire but I can physically support people accross East Anglia (Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk) and parts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. I also offer virtual support nationwide.
